Where is my data stored?

Everything lives in a local SQLite database in your Mac's Application Support folder. Nothing syncs to a server today — see the privacy policy for details.

How do I back up my tasks?

Use the app menu → Export Data… to save a JSON copy of everything (tasks, notes, and reminders) anywhere on your Mac.

Notifications aren't showing up

Open System Settings → Notifications → Tackled and make sure alerts are allowed. You can also try the app's menu → Send Test Notification to confirm delivery.

The global capture shortcut (⌥Space) isn't working

Another app may already be using that shortcut. Quit Tackled, check your other menu-bar apps for a conflicting ⌥Space binding, then relaunch.

What does the small T-shaped badge next to a row do?

That's "send to today" — the one icon action for pulling something back onto today's list, no matter where it's currently sitting: a brain fart, something you parked for later, or a task the weekly review just surfaced. It's the same badge in all three places on purpose, so there's only one gesture to remember for "I want this now" — tap it and the item moves to today's list immediately.
